I forgot to post the sewing room drapes I finished. Well, I probably didn't forget; it was more that I didn't like them at first and left them unblogged in my unenthusiasm. But enough time has passed that now I'm indifferent and just glad to have them done, so here they are.
Is there anything quite like the glory of fresh fabric? Maybe only a fresh skein of yarn. Ah, possibilites! =) This is a funky fabric combination, but it's my sewing room, so I was aiming for a little whimsy.
This is me being all autophotobiographical about my Thinking Spot.
Here's where my sewing left the bounds of my sewing room and spilled over into my life during production.
Here they are minutes after I finished them, at night. If I had it to do over again, I'd switch the placement of the red and blue fabrics. Ce La Vie!
This is what they look like during the day. I've got them tied up with a piece of ribbon while waiting for my hubby to drill the metal holdbacks into the walls. The important part, blocking the sun from fading my yarns and fabrics and glaring on the computer screens, is done though so hooray. (P.S. I did line them, we just get some serious sun through that window.)
